Led just-walk-out integration for West Market, an automated convenience store pilot. Owned hardware, firmware, edge compute, and AWS infrastructure deployed as code — including payment card processing, sensor fusion, and inventory automation. Built early RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) tooling for internal knowledge workflows, foundational to my current AI-native engineering practice.

Co-founder leading hardware and firmware for an access control and member management platform serving coworking spaces nationally. Design PCBs, embedded firmware, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure deployed as code (Lambda, RDS, EC2, IoT Core). Shipped membership ACL with scheduling, secure IoT infrastructure, RADIUS auth/accounting, and 802.1X switched networks. Built and operate multi-tenant Stripe and ACH payment processing with reconciliation, payouts, and real-time observability dashboards spanning transactions, refunds, disputes, and fraud signals. Manage US and China manufacturing relationships and UL/building-code compliance. On-site for installs and integrations as needed.

Owned application and product development end to end. Built high-performance point-in-polygon search on PostgreSQL + PostGIS with aggressive preloading and caching that delivered near-instant geospatial lookups — ahead of its time for the era. Shipped to production, then cleanly handed off.

Control4 automation installs plus reverse-engineered proprietary IP control protocols and custom management UI. Discovery tooling for Ubiquiti, OpenWRT, DD-WRT, Vyatta, Mikrotik. Dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF, OLSR) and IPv6/OSPFv3 deployments. Honeywell & DSC security/fire installs.

Custom VB.net and C# credit card processing integrations and PHP-based Authorize.net integrations for e-commerce. Tigerpaw CRM integration package. Interactive Flash/ActionScript and Joomla CMS work.

Built and supported x86 hardware and 10/100baseT / 10base2 networks for regional offices. Helped install the area's third local ISP (56k dialup, SLIP/PPP, Trumpet Winsock). Bind DNS/rDNS, Apache, POP3, SMTP, and SNMP on Linux and Windows. Custom client connect scripts.
